ILC the Netherlands (NL) is a charitable institution which aims to activate people in thinking about active and healthy aging. ILC-NL complies with the requirements of the tax service and carries the ANBI status. Donations and legacies are tax deductible and we do not pay taxes on them.

Prof. Tineke A. Abma (1964), president
Since December 2019, Tineke is President of Leyden Academy of Vitality and Ageing and of ILC-NL. For over twenty-five years, she has been researching themes closely related to ageing, such as patient and citizen participation, long-term care, ethics and diversity. Taking the perspective of older individuals as a starting point and respecting and valuing the differences between people, is her personal motivation and also a key characteristic in the research and activities.

Yvonne Schinkel-Koemans (1972), communication
In December 2009 Yvonne joined the team of Leyden Academy and ILC-NL. As a communications officer, she is involved in media requests, printed matter (including the compilation of the annual report), social media and the website. Furthermore, Yvonne provides communication support in various activities and projects.
