Op donderdag 20 januari 2022 van 12.30 tot 14.20 uur organiseren wij een online lezing over de houdbaarheid van de ouderenzorg en de impact van de COVID-19-pandemie in Japan en Nederland. Prof. dr. Taichi Ono van het Japanse National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) zal vertellen over de organisatie en uitdagingen van de Japanse ouderenzorg en hoe Japanse ouderen de coronacrisis (hebben) ervaren. Prof. dr. Tineke Abma, directeur van Leyden Academy, zal beide onderwerpen inleiden vanuit Nederlands perspectief. Ook is er volop ruimte voor vragen en discussie. On Thursday 20 January 2022 from 12:30 – 14:20 CET (20:30 – 22:20 JST) we will host an online lecture about the sustainability of elderly care and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan and the Netherlands. Professor Taichi Ono of the Japanese National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) will talk about the organization and challenges of Japanese elderly care and how Japanese elderly people are coping with the COVID crisis.
